February Safe Boating Class

ABC Safe Boating Class - February 22 & March 01, 2025..  A two day course you need to get your Safe Boater Education ID required of anyone born on, or after, 1 Jan. 1988 to operate a boat in Florida.  An excellent introduction to Boating, Boat Handling, Navigation Rules of the Road, Aides to Navigation, Florida Boating Laws and regulations, Boating Safety and more.  Experienced or new, skipper or crew this course is for YOU.  It's FUN too. Class runs from 0900 to 3:30pm both days. 
     Held at Halifax River Yacht Club, 331 South Beach Street, Daytona Beach, 32114.  Class meets in the Family Activities Building across S Beach St (west side) from the main club by the tennis and pickleball courts.  Parking is at the corner of S Beach & Live Oak just south of the tennis court.
     Cost is $39.50 payable by cash, or check.  Couples can share materials for $59.00. Costs cover textbooks and registration.  Email:  [email protected], or call Don Roman, 386-453-6456 for reservations.
